The Chartered Organization's responsibility is to secure adult leaders, provide program support, and provide meeting locations. The Chartered Organization Representative supervises the Scout unit. He or she is responsible for recruiting the Ship Committeeand other adult leaders. The Chartered Organization Representative is a voting member of the BSA local council (Pine Burr Area Council) and may serve on the Ship Committee as Chairman or a Member.
